Texas hospitality

We love hosting guests from out of state and introducing them to Texas. Our goal is to maintain a friendly, hospitable environment for guests. When the Rev. Dr. Hillary Raining was here a couple of months ago for the Invite, Welcome, and Connect Conference, she shared her thoughts with us on Camp Allen and her impression of Texas: 


"I am from Pennsylvania and have been to Texas only a few times in my life--but always to Camp Allen! As far as I am concentered, Texas is Camp Allen and that is all I ever need to see to know just how amazing Texas can be! It has everything anyone would ever need: beautiful facilities, glorious wilderness and lots of ways to explore it, and some of the best food I have ever had! Yet, I think the thing that I love best about Camp Allen is the hospitality and welcome that I have received each visit from every member of the staff. They have go out of their way to make this northern-girl feel right at home! I can't wait to come back to "Texas" (that is Camp Allen) soon!" - The Rev. Dr. Hillary Raining
