What is a challenge course?
A challenge course is comprised of a set of elements that can be run in succession or separately with the intention of challenging a person mentally and physically. A challenge course experience can be comprised of initiatives, low elements, and/or high elements.
wHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The minimum participant age for initiatives and low ropes is eight years old, and participants must be twelve years or older for all high ropes and Adventure Summit elements. While our courses are not fully accessible, many elements provide the opportunity for the facilitator to tailor the challenge based on the specific needs of the group.
hOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE?
Challenge course experiences can last anywhere from one and a half hours to eight hours. They can be completed in the course of one day or across several. Lodging and meals can be provided and information on that can be found here.
hOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Since challenge course experiences are customized for each group, pricing varies based on the specific elements and the number of participants. Packages can range from $30 to $100 per person.
wHO WILL LEAD MY EXPERIENCE?
Camp Allen facilitators are trained and certified according to Association for Challenge Course Technology standards  and they have ample experience with participants for all ages.

To book an event or request additional information about the course, contact the Camp Allen Activities Coordinator.
