We had a wonderful turn out at The Junior League of Houston for Starry Nights 2017. It was a joyful evening with familiar faces and new friends gathering to support Camp Allen. The event sold out and over 300 guests attended to raise support. Through donations and a live auction in addition to big board items and mobile giving over $300,000 was raised for summer camp scholarships and programs at Camp Allen! We feel extremely blessed by our supporters. Special thanks to our honorees, The Rev. Doug Richnow and Joan Dunlap, for all the ways they support and believe in Camp Allen. We are very thankful to you and your families. Rev. Patrick Miller was in rare form behind the mic as auctioneer and had the ballroom roaring with laughter. This event would not be possible without our Gala Committee: Cindy and Buddy Bailey, Stephanie and Jim Gilley, Allison and Grant Hall, Daisy and Bill Quayle, Liz Schlotzhauer, Barbara Short, and Fran Tower - a huge thank you for your amazing work.
