Though our theme was How the Grinch Stole Christmas, this 18th year of Holiday in the Pines was anything but grumpy, gross, or grinchly! From snow-ball fights in the piney woods to gingerbread houses to night zip-lining to wagon rides and s'mores (and of course a showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas), a holly jolly time was had by all! Eighty families came from near and far to celebrate Christmas and take a step back from the rush of the holiday season and spend quality time together. It was a perfectly chilly winter weekend in Texas and everywhere you looked there were smiles in abundance, especially when Santa came to visit! The winner of the ginger bread house contest shined with perfectly placed gumdrops and gobstoppers and cheeks were sore from smiling after family style Minute to Win It games. We were so delighted to host everyone at this amazing family weekend, and we look forward to many more years to come of Holiday in the Pines! Comments are closed.
