10th Annual Starry Nights & Campfire lights

This Tuesday evening was Camp Allen’s 10th annual Starry Nights and Campfire Lights in Austin. Faces and friends of Camp Allen gathered at Seminary of the Southwest to raise funds for camper scholarships and support other various projects happening in our piney woods. The evening had a record turnout to honor an amazing couple, The Rt. Rev. Dena and Larry Harrison!


After serving the Diocese of Texas for twelve years, Bishop Harrison plans to retire at the end of the year. We are so grateful to have celebrated Bishop Harrison and her husband Larry’s faithful service to Camp Allen, the Diocese of Texas, and beyond.
We are feeling  blessed after an evening of fellowship and fun, through donations and auction items, Camp Allen received over $70,000! Thanks be to God and our faithful supporters!


A very special thank you to our behind the scenes crew who made this event such a success, our amazing committee members: Ashley and Miles Brandon, Kellye and Kenton Heinze, and Bonnie and Trent Walton. Thank you for your help in constructing such a marvelous evening.
