Cabin Counselors spend their days mentoring campers and being mentored by older counselors and staff. They will do everything with their campers, including all the amazing activities. This volunteer position is for 16 and 17-year-old young adults that want to learn and grow in their role as a leader. The CC will be on the front lines with our Resident Cabin Counselors sharing the love of Christ with others and having a blast. Applicants should be available to volunteer for at least one full week of camp and be able to attend a mandatory Counselor Training Program in the spring of 2019.
If an applicant is 15 years old and hoping to step out of the camper world and into a staff position, the Floater role is ideal. Floaters stay in the Director’s Quarters and work to learn the ins and outs of camp. They have the chance to learn behavior management skills and get to know campers from every walk of life. Every day is different and full of new experiences and friendships. Most applicants will have the chance to work one full week of camp and will need to attend a mandatory Counselor Training Program in the Spring.
