reserved ACTIVITIES faq
how are activities billed?
Activities are billed to the group on the final bill. For activities that are priced per person, the group is billed for the number of participants or the minimum charge in cases where the minimum number of participants is not met.
How far in advance do i need to book ACTIVITIES?
The answer varies depending on the demand of other guests on property during your stay, but the earlier, the better! They are booked on a first come, first serve basis. Activities should be reserved at least two weeks prior to arrival, but can be booked months in advance.
how firm are your rules on age requirements and maximums?
For your safety and Camp Allen's liability, we do not make any exceptions to age requirements or overbooking activities.
will there be other groups sharing an activity with me?
An activity time slot is typically reserved for just one group.
are there any times of year when reserved activities are not available?
Generally, Camp Allen does not schedule reserved activities for individual guest groups during the summer camp season, most holidays, and during public events (such as Mom Camp or Holiday in the Pines).
what is your cancellation policy for reserved activities?
Activities cancelled by the guest within 48 hours of the scheduled activity will be billed the minimum charge.
who can reserve ACTIVITIES?
Any guest group with a contracted event may book activities- whether you are a family staying in a cabin or if you are coordinating a large retreat at the Conference Center.
