WHAT IS RALLY DAY?

We are excited to bring back the tradition of a Camp Allen Rally Day, first established in the Diocese of Texas in the 1940s. Your kids have 10232 spirit days at school, the Aggies Maroon out, UT has Longhorn Fridays, and in the Diocese of Texas- we are going to show our Camp Allen spirit at church on Sunday, March 1!

In addition to wearing Camp Allen gear, we encourage churches to share opportunities for parishioners to experience  formation and fellowship at Camp Allen's beautiful property.

what churches can do on march 1 to get in the camp spirit...

• Put a summer camp promo and event information in your bulletin and e-blasts.
• Have the priest or camp alumni briefly share Camp Allen information during service announcements.
• Set out printed brochures and flyers (Camp Allen will supply packets to churches at EDOT Council).
• If possible, show a summer camp video during youth group or Sunday school.​​
